We are a family-run catering trailer and street food pop-up built on a love of great food, community, and quality local Welsh produce. Every dish we serve is rooted in fresh, locally sourced ingredients, bringing bold flavour and honest cooking to every event we attend.

Louie, a second-generation chef with over 20 years of experience, grew up in Penmaenmawr, North Wales and developed his passion for food from an early age. After working away as a roving chef, he returned home to share   his skills and celebrate the incredible produce Wales has   to offer.

Laura, who has a background in admin & customer service, met Louie while he was working away. Since moving to North Wales with Louie, she has embraced life here, enjoying learning about the local culture and trying to pick up some of the language. Her warm, friendly approach helps create the welcoming atmosphere Ty Gril is known for.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. Whether we’re serving at local events, markets, or private bookings, we’re passionate about supporting local suppliers, connecting with people, and creating a friendly, welcoming experience wherever we go, bringing people together over great food.
